Honghe Grant

Purpose

In order to support educational development in Yunnan University, Hongyun Honghe Tobacco Group has set up a Honghe Grant in Yunnan University to help outstanding students who are in financial difficulties at home to finish their studies at college and contribute to the economic development of Yunnan.

Selection Scope

Full-time undergraduates who are natives of Yunnan province in Yunnan University

Eligibility

1. Must be patriotic and support the leadership of the CPC;

2. Must observe the constitution, laws, and regulations in Yunnan University;

3. Must be honest, keep good faith, be a good team player, and must respect teachers and students and maintain a good moral character;

4. Must be hardworking, positive, and pass all courses;

5. Must be experiencing family financial difficulties, keep a frugal life, and have no bad habits;

6. Must be a full-time undergraduate in Yunnan University;

7. Must not have previously received this grant.

Application Time

Every November

Grant Amount

4,000 yuan ($603.5) for each student, 800,000 yuan in total.

200 students every year
