New Great Wall Grant

Purpose

The program was launched by the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation (DFPA), not only to provide financial aid to students from low-income families but also to improve their mental health and elevate society's moral tone.

The DFPA is determined to develop the program into a brand project with high transparency and credibility.

Selection Scope

Undergraduates from extremely poor families

Eligibility

1. Applicants shall be members of low-income families.

2. Applicants shall submit true materials.

3.Applicants shall observe all the rules of Yunnan University.

4. Applicants must be willing to take part in charitable or voluntary activities.

5. Applicants must write letters to the donors.

6. Applicants shall demonstrate personal thriftiness.

Application Time

Every July and August

Grant Amounts

1,840 yuan ($277.6) per student
