Daoshengjingci Scholarship for west development

Purpose

China Friendship Foundation for Peace and Development established and funded the Daoshengjingci Scholarship for west development in Yunnan University to help excellent students with financial difficulties pursue their studies and encourage them to master knowledge, in a bid to cultivate talents for west China's education development.

Selection Scope

Outstanding full-time students from west China.

Eligibility

1. Applicants should be patriotic, and abide by the laws and regulations..

2. "Excellent" means applicants should have a good character and have received excellent grades during their major.

3. Having financial difficulties signifies a monthly average income for urban applicants'  each family member below 180 yuan($27.14) while rural applicants’ 120 yuan.

4. Applicants should not have been subject to criticism or punishments for violating school rules and regulations.

Application Time

October every year. 

Award Standard

Each student may be awarded with 1.250 yuan.

Winner Amount

Twenty students each year.
