Tae Charitable Foundation Scholarship

Purpose

Yunnan Tae Charitable Foundation established and funded the Tae Charitable Foundation Scholarship in Yunnan University to help students with financial difficulties pursue studies and encourage them to join in social public welfare undertakings, inspiring them to develop morally, intellectually and physically. 

Selection Scope

Outstanding full-time undergraduates except for freshmen.

Eligibility

Applicants should be patriotic, abide by the laws and regulations, and be studious.

Applicant should be caring, helpful, dedicated, and eager to do social work and active in public welfare undertakings.

Applicants should be honest and trustworthy, diligent, and in good health.

Applicants should love their major and have received excellent grades with comprehensive quality evaluation scores of over 85 points, with weighted courses averages of 75 points or more and with excellent college entrance examination performance. 

5. Students who have one of the following conditions are not eligible.

(1) Students subject to criticism or punishments for violating school rules and regulations;

(2) Students who failed a course in the year;

(3) Students who for no acceptable reason do not pay fees for tuition and accommodation in the year.

Priorities are given to students who have received university level or higher recognition during the year, those who have made prominent achievements in a specific area, and who have financial difficulties in pursuing studies.

Application Time

October every year.

Award Standard

Each student may be awarded with 2,000 yuan ($301.57).

Winner Amount

Fifty students each year.
