YNU agrees partnership with Yunnan Communication Group

A signing ceremony marking the partnership between Yunnan University (YNU) and Yunnan Communication Group, was held at Yunnan Broadcasting and TV Station, on Dec 6. 

Yang Lin, Party secretary of YNU; Zhang Li, vice-president of YNU; He Yaning, chairman of Yunnan Communication Group; Fan Yuhang and Wei Feng, deputy directors of Yunnan Broadcasting and TV Station; Liu Hua, deputy editor-in-chief of Yunnan Communication Group; Yu Lei, deputy general manager of Yunnan Communication Group, and additional representatives from both sides, attended the event. 

Before the signing ceremony, Yang and Zhang toured the inside of Yunnan Broadcasting and TV Station. 

During the event, He Yaning spoke of his hopes that both sides would make use of their respective strengths to enhance each other’s connections with neighboring countries. 

He claimed that the partnership with YNU would provide a new driving force for Yunnan Communication Group to increase its international links and facilitate its role in telling Yunnan's stories to the world. 

In Yang Lin's speech, he said that the partnership between the two sides would assist YNU with its research, teaching and training of professionals. 

Yang said that both parties should share resources and work together to tackle key technology issues and train high-level professionals. 

According to their partnership agreement, both sides will jointly promote the national digital television standard to foreign countries, train professionals, and improve the communication abilities of YNU.
