Peking University delegation visits Yunnan University

A delegation from the Health Science Center of Peking University visited Yunnan University (YNU) on May 7 to discuss their partnership in medicine.

Lin Wenxun, Party secretary of YNU, Zhang Li and Zhao Qihua, vice-presidents of YNU, and other representatives met with the delegation, led by Xiao Yuan, deputy director of Peking University’s Heath Science Center. 

During the meeting, Lin briefed the guests on YNU’s background in medicine and life sciences, as well as the university’s plans for the future development of medicine. 

Lin expressed hope that Peking University would support YNU’s development of life sciences. 

Xiao extended a greeting from Peking University’s Party Secretary Qiu Shuiping and President Hao Ping and outlined the development of medicine at Peking University. 

He suggested that both universities work together to formulate a detailed plan to promote the development of medicine. 

Other representatives at the meeting discussed the partnership between the two universities.
