Yunnan University holds festival of academic studies

The School of History and Archives at Yunnan University (YNU) held the 3rd Festival of Academic Studies from May 13 to 17.

Hundreds of students and teachers from YNU and other universities in Kunming, capital of Yunnan province, took part in the festival. 

The festival consisted of six activities, including opening and closing ceremonies, an academic competition, an exhibition, and a face-to-face conversation between well-known scholars and students. 

The academic competition has received 67 entries so far, and nearly 200 students have signed up for the workshop facilitating conversations between students and well-known scholars.

The Festival of Academic Studies began in 2017 and aims to foster innovation and critical thinking abilities among students.
