YNU researcher publishes findings in renowned journal

Yunnan University (YNU) scholar Wang Zanxin recently published his research findings in Energy Policy, a top journal in the field of energy economics.

Energy Policy is an international peer-reviewed journal addressing the policy implications of energy supply and use from an economic, social, planning, and environmental perspective. Papers cover global, regional, national, and local topics of wide policy significance and interest. 

Wang’s paper, entitled “The effects of petroleum product price regulation on macroeconomic stability in China”, analyzes whether the Chinese government should loosen regulations on the price of petroleum. Wang is the primary author of the paper.

Over the past six months, Wang has made a series of research achievements in the field of energy.

Another one of his papers, entitled “Impacts of biofuel policy on the regional economy and carbon emission reduction in Yunnan, China” was included in Energy & Environment, and another one entitled “The Economic Feasibility of the Valorization of Water Hyacinth for Bioethanol Production” was published in Sustainability.
