A delegation from Yunnan University (YNU)’s School of Physical Education visited the University of Hong Kong (HKU) from May 28 to June 1.
The delegation consisted of Li Guozhong, dean of YNU’s School of Physical Education, Xian Hui, a lecturer working at the school, and five students.
During the five-day visit, Li delivered a lecture introducing YNU’s physical education philosophy and international exchange activities.
Both parties reached a preliminary agreement on cooperation in plateau training and the organization of sporting events.
The YNU delegation also visited HKU’s laboratory and school of physical education and participated in Wing Chun and tai chi activities with members of the University of Hong Kong Staff Association.
The visit taught YNU about athletic rehabilitation, laboratory development, training, and organizing sporting events.
YNU authorities said that the School of Physical Education at YNU will continue to strengthen cooperation with the University of Hong Kong in physical education.
