A research finding in the field of material sciences by researchers from Yunnan University (YNU) and other foreign and domestic universities has recently been included in Advanced Materials.
The paper on the finding is entitled “Extrinsic green photoluminescence from the edges of two-dimensional cesium lead halides”.
Researchers credited with the finding include a YNU research team led by Wang Chong, who works at YNU’s School of Material Sciences and Engineering, a team led by Bao Jiming from the University of Houston in the United States, and a team led by Wang Zhiming from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
The research received financial support from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, a fund affiliated with the China Scholarship Council, and two other Yunnan provincial talent-support programs.
Researcher Wang Chong, along with doctoral degree holders Wang Yanan and Su Xinghua from YNU’s School of Material Sciences and Engineering, are the primary authors of the paper.
Advanced Materials is the top weekly journal in material sciences. It consists of communications, reviews, and feature articles in the fields of chemistry, physics, nanotechnology, ceramics, metallurgy, and biomaterials.
