YNU professor paraglides to success

Xiong Gang, associate professor of the School of Physical Education at Yunnan University (YNU), received two award at the Open Kazakhstan Paragliding Accuracy Cup held in Taldy Kurgan from June 25 to 27.

Eighty athletes from more than 20 countries, including China, Czech Republic, Serbia, Slovenia, Thailand, South Korea, Japan, and Indonesia, took part in the competition.

Xiong helped the Chinese team secure third place, while he himself took sixth place in the individual category of the competition.
