A symposium on intangible cultural heritage preservation was held at the Donglu campus of Yunnan University (YNU) on July 3.
The symposium, themed on the historical, artistic, and contemporary value of Yunnan ceramics, was co-hosted by the YNU Center for the Preservation of Purple Pottery, the Yunnan Institute for Ethnic Art, YNU’s School of Art and Design, and the Institute for Cultural Development.
The symposium was co-chaired by Ma Yunhua, dean of the Yunnan Institute for Ethnic Art, and Li Yan, dean of YNU’s Institute for Cultural Development.
A number of scholars from YNU, Honghe University, and the Research Institute for the Development of Yuxi Kiln were invited to share their recent research on the topic at the symposium.
