A Yunnan University (YNU) delegation recently finished a cultural exchange program at Mahidol University in Thailand.
The 22-member delegation consisted of teachers and students who stayed at the university from Aug 18 to 31 as part of YNU’s 2019 Belt and Road People-to-People Exchange Program.
The program allows students from low-income families to acquire cross-cultural experience in foreign countries.
During the program, the YNU delegation attended a number of lectures on Thai culture and learned about Thai language, traditional handicrafts, medicine, clothing, dance, and food.
They also visited the Royal Palace, the Jade Buddha Temple, the Museum Siam, Chinatown, and the Queen Sirikit Museum of Textiles.
