YNU students score high at Yunnan sports dance contest

The finals of the 10th School Sports Dance Championship of Yunnan Province was held at Kunming University from Oct 18 to 20, according to university reports.

A total of 1,134 contestants from 56 teams participated in the event, including nine from Yunnan University, also known as YNU.

During the final showdown, the YNU team members took part in Latin dance, ballroom, show dance, and sports dance competitions, achieving two first and two second awards.

The Sports Institute of YNU aims to continue training sports dance professionals and participate in more competitions in the future, according to officials.
