Water conservancy experts visit YNU

An expert group organized by the Ministry of Water Resources visited the School of Business and Tourism Management at Yunnan University on Dec 5, to survey its building of a national water park teaching base, YNU officials said.

The group included experts Li Guibao, professor from the Chinese Hydraulic Engineering Society and Professor Li Hu, dean of the School of Architecture of North China University of Water Resources and Electric Power, as well as professors from Hohai University and Beijing Union University.

They came to survey the feasibility of building a national water park teaching base, as well as a research center for recreation near rivers and lakes at YNU.

Lyu Wanqing, dean of the School of Business and Tourism Management of YNU, gave a briefing on the school's basic situation and associate professor Li Peng talked about the school's research and teaching in national water park construction and in water conservancy tourism.

Experts attending the meeting affirmed YNU's achievements in the disciplines and offered some suggestions.
