YNU releases letter to teachers, students

Yunnan University released a letter to teachers and students on Jan 26, calling on them to unite to fight  the novel coronavirus and raise their awareness of the imperative to prevent and control the outbreak, according to YNU officials.

According to the letter, YNU underlined six imperatives as follows: 

1. Place safety and health ahead of anything else. 

2. Reduce unnecessary contact. 

3. Wear a mask when going out. 

4. Develop good hygiene habits. 

5. Work and rest reasonably. 

6. Maintain close contact with the university and not return early. 

The letter said that at the same time, students and teachers should attempt to rationally understand the epidemic situation and any information on the epidemic situation was subject to an official announcement.
