1.The start date for the spring semester of 2020 of Yunnan University is hereby postponed until after March 1, with the specific date to be issued on further notice. The summer vacation time will be extended accordingly.
2.Faculty and staff members are required to return to the campus in Kunming and to have stayed at their homes for 14 days prior to March 1 -- and they need to inform the head of the department about their travel schedule in a timely manner. After being examined by each department, information should be reported to the personnel department via the automated office system. It is advised that at present, teaching staff (unlimited household registration) in Hubei province should not return for the time being.
3.Department officials and teachers should pay attention to the health condition of each student, advising them not to return to school ahead of time. In the meantime, teachers should also guide students’ learning and give them learning tasks.
4.Without university approval, no student is allowed to return to school and off-campus personnel are not allowed to enter campus. Teachers and students who enter the campus must get a body temperature measurement; people with fever or coughing must get medical isolation and observation and those who disobey management will be dealt with seriously.
5.All departments and schools should arrange to have operators on duty daily, from Feb 15 to March 1. Those in charge should ensure they can be contacted, day and night. On-duty arrangements should be reported before 12:00 on Feb 14 to the Party committee office, the president’s office, the public security office, the students affairs office, the research department and the school hospital via the automated office system.
