Resolute YNU student helps to control, prevent virus

Fan Xuanya, a student in the School of Chinese Language and Literature at Yunnan University, has been working as a volunteer in prevention and control of the novel coronavirus, according to university officials.

She offers voluntary service at the Kunbei community in Baotou city in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, registering residents’ information, measuring their body temperatures and disinfecting passing vehicles.

Officials said that communities are one of the most important places to implement prevention and control of the epidemic and they are crucial in preventing the spread of the virus.

Fan said that in the face of such difficult times, young students must do their best to help overcome difficulties.
