YNU receives donated face masks

The news website yn.people.com, together with Guomin nutrition (Beijing) health management limited company, donated a total of 5,400 disposable face masks to Yunnan University in Kunming in Southwest China’s Yunnan province on April 1, according to YNU officials.

The masks were donated to support YNU’s prevention and control of the novel coronavirus epidemic, they said.

Li Chenyang, vice president of YNU, promised that the materials would be used to ensure the safety of teachers and students.

Since March 31, yn.people.com and the have donated a total of 100,000 disposable face masks to more than 20 universities, as well as middle and primary schools in the province, to help them prevent and control the epidemic.
