Yunnan University in Southwest China's Yunnan province donated medical materials to the University of Dhaka and North South University in Bangladesh -- and in Myanmar to Mandalay Fuqing Language and Computer School, as well as Confucius Institutes in three universities -- to help teachers and students there fight the novel coronavirus epidemic, according to YNU reports.
YNU officials said the materials included 15,000 medical masks, forehead thermometers and sterilization tablets, which arrived in Bangladesh and Myanmar on April 7.
They said that due to the epidemic, YNU was concerned much about teachers and volunteers in overseas Confucius Institutes and was making efforts to offer help to them.
