YNU hosts study camp on law and social sciences

The law and social sciences interdisciplinary team of Yunnan University (YNU) held the 4th Law and Social Science Study Camp with the Interdisciplinary Research Center of Law and Social Sciences of Renmin University of China and the Grassroots Law Research Institute of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law from Aug 21 to 30.

The study camp utilized an online teaching and discussion mode. A total of 23 teachers from YNU, Renmin University of China, Peking University, Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Jilin University, the University of Hong Kong, and the Zhongnan University of Economics and Law were arranged to give special lectures to 36 member students from universities like YNU, Harvard University, Tsinghua University, Peking University, Renmin University of China, and Fudan University.

In order to effectively expand the quality of YNU's law and social sciences interdisciplinary talent training, as well as enhance the exchanges between YNU and other universities, this seminar set up a branch venue in YNU, enabling dozens of students from the law and social sciences interdisciplinary field to study at the same time.

The study camp was an academic exchange activity jointly organized by teachers and students of related colleges and universities, aiming to attract more students to join the law and social sciences interdisciplinary field. As the initiator of the study camp, YNU held the first study camp in 2013, while the second and third seminars were held at Southwest University of Political Science and Law and Peking University.
