Yunnan University's outstanding books recognized nationally

Recently, 92 books from 67 publishing institutions were identified as part of the 2021 Classic China International Publishing Project funding project, and 324 books from 130 publishing organizations were identified as part of the Silk Road Books Project in the 2021 funding project.

The Tibetan-Chinese-English New Terminologies Dictionary (English) declared by Yunnan University Press made the 2021 Classic China International Publishing Project, and two other books made the 2021 Silk Road Books Project.

The Classic China International Publishing Project is a key project established by the National Press and Publication Administration to encourage and support the publication of outstanding export-oriented books that meet the needs of foreign markets and promote the global success of Chinese books.

The Silk Road Books Project is the only major project of China's press and publishing industry to participate in the country's Belt and Road Initiative.

The publishing authorization of the three books and the selection of the national-level external publishing projects have demonstrated Yunnan University Press's achievements in the implementation of the going global strategy for Chinese publishing sector.

This has also reflected the comprehensive strength and international influence of Yunnan University's ethnology, and showcased the university's contribution to China's contemporary development achievements.
