YNU strengthens its construction with quality talents

Yunnan University (YNU) is home to many award-winning faculty members and outstanding scholars.

It currently has 3,023 faculty and staff, including 2,582 in professional and technical positions.

Among the professional and technical positions, 2017 are in professional technical positions (1,219 with doctoral degrees), 507 with senior professional titles, and 675 with associate senior titles.

The university vigorously implements the strategy of "strengthening the university construction with talents", and the number of high-level talents are growing rapidly.

Currently, YNU has introduced six academicians both double appointed and special appointed. Eleven personnel are selected for various projects of the national high-level talent introduction program.

Also, the university has 14 talents who are special-appointed professors and lecture professors of the "Changjiang Scholars Award Program" of the Ministry of Education, as well as 14 winners in national science fund for distinguished young scholars and two winners in the national outstanding youth science fund.
