Lecture on China's higher education development held at CIUT

The Confucius Institute at University of Tehran (CIUT) in Iran held an online academic lecture on the evolution and development of China's higher education on Aug 10, kicking off the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Iran.

Established in 2009, CIUT was jointly developed by University of Tehran and Yunnan University.

At the lecture, Wu Mei, a professor at the Research Institute of Higher Education at Yunnan University, was the main keynote speaker. She reviewed the historical process of China's higher education development and the characteristics of each stage.

The president of CIUT provided relevant supplements and spoke highly of the lecture.

During the interactive section, students from CIUT asked questions and actively participated in discussion.
