The 2nd AsiaEvo Conference, an international conference hosted by Tokyo Metropolitan University, was held online from Aug 16-19 and included one main venue, 24 branch venues, and poster display activities.

Yu Li from Yunnan University (YNU) and Hu Yibo from the Institute of Zoology at the Chinese Academy of Sciences jointly organized the "Conservation Evolutionary Biology of Wild Animals" branch venue activity.
The activity has provided a platform for communication and discussion on related topics. During the activities, professors talked about their research progress and the challenges of conservation biology throughout the evolution of wildlife conservation.
The AsiaEvo Conference is a comprehensive academic conference on evolutionary biology research held in Asia. It focuses on many popular fields of evolutionary biology research, including genomics, developmental biology, paleontology, systems biology, ecology, and biogeography.
Teachers and students from YNU also participated in the conference, which is significant to the future research in the field.
