In the Hexie and Jinxiu communities of Shangjiang town, the YNU University research service team cooperated with the Kangde Social Work Service Center of Lushui to carry out an activity to promote understanding and communication between the elderly and children and adolescents.
The activity arranged for the elderly to teach Lisu songs, dances, and characters to children and young people, and featured courses such as crossbow exercises, food making, and hand-painted Lisu houses to promote Lisu culture.
The research service team also organized an activity on classwork guidance and life skills for children in the Chengqiangba relocation community to stimulate children's interest in learning and help them develop good behaviors.
Through the activities, children have made progress in the development of good behavior and habits, the improvement of learning methods, future career planning, life skills improvement, and national culture inheritance, while the needs of the elderly in personal health care and interpersonal communication have been met to a certain extent.
