Updated: Dec 10, 2021

Yunnan University (YNU) recently awarded licenses to Jinning District Museum in Kunming, capital of Southwest China's Yunnan province, specifically the joint training base and employment practice base for post graduates majoring in cultural heritage and museology at YNU.

The cultural heritage and museology major of YNU signed a cooperation agreement with Jinning District Museum. Tai Xiaoxu, curator of the museum, was appointed as the external cooperation tutor.

Since its opening in 2017, the Jinning District Museum has been continuously enhancing its service awareness and improving service facilities and quality. Additionally, it has been making continuous efforts in terms of planning and exhibition, restoration and protection of heritage items, scientific research, and popular science education.

The unveiling of the two bases will strengthen exchanges between YNU and the museum and promote cultural relics protection and research work.
