S&SE ASIAN UN holds conference on interschool communication

The 2021 annual conference of the "ambassador of interschool communication" system of the South and Southeast Asian University Network (S&SE ASIAN UN) was held on Dec 17 at Yunnan University.

Staff members of S&SE ASIAN UN secretariat and the ambassadors of interschool communication attended the conference.

During the proceedings, the secretariat briefed the ambassadors on the work of the S&SE ASIAN UN in 2021 – including five new member units, academic conferences and student projects, as well as the bilingual annual reports and the construction of a bilingual website.

The secretariat also held a spirited discussions with the ambassadors on the works plan for the S&SE ASIAN UN in 2022. 

Ambassadors praised the achievements made by the S&SE ASIAN UN in overcoming the adverse impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021. They expressed their resolve to actively participate in activities hosted by the S&SE ASIAN UN and cooperate in research, academic and student exchanges in the future.

Established in 2014, the "ambassador of interschool communication" system aims to strengthen the ties between the S&SE ASIAN UN secretariat and the member universities.

It aims to enhance mutual understanding among the members and promote interschool cooperation in cultural exchanges, research cooperation and joint training.
