The Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) alumni council of the School of Business and Tourism Management at Yunnan University (YNU), sent winter supplies to Xiaoguang Primary School on Dec 15. They were joined by officials from Dongchuan district government in Yunnan province and workers from companies run by YNU graduates.

Supplies included 153 packages filled with shoes, hats and blankets for the children and 20 down jackets for teachers.
Also, Yunnan Wuwei Security Service Co, a company set up by an alumnus, donated 500,000 yuan ($78,464) to set up a special charity fund, which will be used to subsidize needy students in the counties and districts of Kunming city and help rural revitalization.
Hu Chunxiao, secretary of the Party branch of Yunnan Wuwei Security Service Co, expressed the company's best wishes to the children.

In addition, Yunnan Wish Beauty Co, a business owned by an EMBA alumnus, also donated supplies worth 20,800 yuan to 80 students at Xiyang Primary School in Jining district.
Zhang Jianliang, secretary of the Party committee of the School of Business and Tourism Management at YNU, thanked the EMBA alumni for their kindness and called on all sectors of society to care for children and pay attention to public welfare activities.
