Updated: Dec 27, 2021

The higher education department of the Ministry of Education recently released the second list of industry-university collaborative education projects in 2021, which included 38 projects from Yunnan University (YNU).

YNU has had 73 projects included on the 2021 list of industry-university collaborative education projects, ranking first in Southwest China's Yunnan province and accounting for 21.35 percent of the province's total.

Among the 73 projects, 22 involve teaching content and curriculum system reform, 24 involve practical conditions and practice base construction, 10 involve construction and new engineering, new medicine, new agriculture and new liberal arts,  12 involve teacher training, and five involve innovation and entrepreneurship education reform.

YNU has always attached heavy importance to industry-university collaborative education and has introduced and made good use of corporate resources, for example, by communicating with well-known enterprises with high-quality teaching resources.

Meanwhile, the university has set up a special fund management account for industry-university collaborative education projects to encourage teachers to carry out related training and construction work.

Going forward, YNU will promote the effective integration of education, teaching, research and other resources inside and outside the university.
