Yunnan University (YNU) students recently won one first prize, three second prizes, and one third prize in the final of the 7th China Undergraduate Physics Experiment Competition.
The contest aimed to stimulate college and university students' interest and potential in physical experiments, cultivate innovative minds and practical abilities, and improve teamworking abilities and competitiveness.
A total of 1,644 teams from 480 universities participated in this year's competition. YNU selected five of its top teams to take part.
The School of Physics and Astronomy at YNU has always attached great importance to the development of high-level projects, and placed a special emphasis on the abilities of its instructors, increasing the chances its students will perform well in competitions.
