Hospital wing escorts teachers & students for homecoming

Updated: Jan 11, 2022

In response to the needs of teachers and students returning home for winter vacation, the hospital wing of Yunnan University (YNU)  provided nucleic acid testing services on campus since Jan 1.

More than 30 medical staff members together with university graduates collected nucleic acid samples for more than 17,000 teachers and students in Chenggong and Donglu campuses.

The hospital wing adopted an online reservation system to adjust the time and location of nucleic acid sampling based on people's needs. All departments of YNU actively cooperated with the teachers and students to convey a work arrangement of the nucleic acid testing service.

To avoid people gathering and to improve the efficiency of nucleic acid testing, the hospital wing set up a collection site in a spacious and well-ventilated outdoor area in strict accordance with the COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control standards.

At the sampling site, teachers and students wore masks, lined up along the set lines in an orderly manner, and actively cooperated with code scanning and registration before sampling. Under the guidance of the medical staff members, nucleic acid sampling was carried out efficiently and orderly, which helped teachers and students to return to their hometowns safely.
