YNU's new training base approved

The Department of Teacher Work in the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China announced the selection results of the second batch of the National Vocational Education Teacher Teaching Innovation Team Training Base on Dec 31, 2021. The major direction "Culture (II)" applied by the College of Vocational and Continuing Education of Yunnan University (YNU) was approved.

YNU applied for "Tourism" and "Culture (II)". After independent application and expert evaluation, 33 training bases such as YNU, Tongji University, and Tianjin University were selected.

YNU served the national strategy and the economic and social development of Yunnan in recent years. The selection of this project met the needs of the construction of a first-rate universities and disciplines providing talent support for comprehensive construction of the modern country.

It is reported that the selection of the base as the future vocational teacher training base for performance evaluation and rotation adjustment is important. YNU's base will conduct extensive research, understand training needs, design training courses, and provide program guidance for team building.
