Yunnan University boasts achievements in teaching, research

Three virtual teaching and research offices at Yunnan University, or YNU - located in Kunming, capital of Southwest China's Yunnan province - were recently selected among the first batch of pilot development projects in the fields by the Ministry of Education.

The virtual offices are respectively studying the field practice of ecology course and the core course group of tourism management.

The offices are operated by teachers who aim to solve certain problems.

They all make full use of modern information technology to explore teaching and research models to help resolve time and space limitations.

The offices are regarded as being important initiatives in the construction of new grassroots teaching organizations in the information age, promoting the high-quality development of higher education.

YNU is understood to be fully implementing a "teaching and research offices revitalization plan" and is actively exploring their development.

Moreover, it is striving to strengthen its teaching research and provide support for the training of undergraduates in the university.
