To recruit top-flight international students, the International Cooperation and Exchange Office of Yunnan University, or YNU – located in Kunming, capital of Southwest China's Yunnan province – held online admissions seminars for international students at 3 pm on March 14 and 15, Beijing time.
The lecture on March 14 was open to all international students and was broadcast live on the web. Teacher Wei Ping from the School of Journalism and Teacher Yang Ziqin from the School of Chinese International Education gave talks.
In their presentations they provided basic information about their schools and answered direct questions from international students.
The office introduced its international students admission guide, giving details on its scholarship admission policy, application methods and recommended programs.
The lecture on March 15 was held for the Confucius Institutes undertaken by YNU.
