Yunnan University, or YNU – located in Kunming, capital city of Southwest China's Yunnan province – was recently ranked first with Peking University in the quality of academic case studies selected by the Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Development Center of the Ministry of Education.
This selection was based on the four themes of rural revitalization, ecological civilization, "Digital China", and common prosperity. It aimed to explore high-quality case studies that go with the times.
In its application of recommended academic case studies, the Graduate School of YNU relied on the construction and professionalism of the material. The schoool actively participated in academics case studies organization, carefully reviewed academics case studies, and repeatedly revised the papers.
Finally, YNU is understood to have achieved strong results for six cases that were selected.
The outcome reportedly showcases the ability of teachers in YNU to study and write academic case studies. It is also understood to be a demonstration of the general level of the university in the field of degrees.
Moving forwards, plans are for the university to further support the compilation of professional degree postgraduate case studies and the construction of a case database.
YNU will also move towards building a new model of professional degree postgraduate case teaching.
