Ever since Shanghai and Yunnan established an assistance and cooperation relationship in 1996, their people have forged a deep friendship. At present, the epidemic situation in Shanghai is said to be severe and it was deemed to be the responsibility of the people of Yunnan to support Shanghai.

Before their departure, the team members from the affiliated hospital expressed their resolve to obey the work arrangements of the Shanghai municipal government and contribute Yunnan's strength to Shanghai's anti-epidemic efforts.

The epidemic will eventually pass. Yunnan University hopes that Shanghai will return to its former prosperity as soon as possible, so the team members from the Affiliated Hospital of Yunnan University will return safely.
