Yunnan University promotes graduate employment

The leaders of Yunnan University – located in Kunming, capital of Southwest China's Yunnan province – recently visited seven enterprises including Yunnan Aviation Industry Investment Group Co and Yunnan Baiyao Group Co to boost employment for its 2022 graduates.

During the visit, the university leaders recommended graduates of relevant majors at the university, and listened to the opinions and suggestions of employers in regard to the university's development.

Leaders of various employers spoke highly of Yunnan University's in-depth implementation of the "special action of visiting enterprises to expand jobs and promote employment", and introduced the development history, operating conditions, and talent needs of their enterprises.

At present, 20 schools in Yunnan University have carried out work related to special actions. A total of 38 school-level leadership teams have visited 36 companies and 90 alumni, providing 1,019 jobs.

Moving forward, the university will also carry out in-depth cooperation with employers to promote higher-quality employment of graduates.
