Teaching demonstration courses begin on campus

Yunnan University – located in Kunming, capital of Southwest China's Yunnan province – will continue to offer outstanding courses and excellent course teaching demonstration activities from May 5 to 29.

It aims to further strengthen the exchange of teaching methods among teachers, improve the teaching skills of teachers, and take full advantage of its excellent teachers.

During this period, three extraordinary courses and 92 excellent courses as recognized by the university will be taught on both the Donglu and Chenggong campuses.

The three extraordinary courses are Quantum Mechanics A, Signals and Systems, and Western Wisdom.

Quantum mechanics is an essential course for anybody interested in pioneering research in physics and plays a vital role in cultivating students' abstract thinking, scientific research, and innovation capabilities.

Signals and Systems aims to enable students to comprehensively master the basic principles, methods and applications of signal and linear system analysis and to cultivate students' scientific thinking abilities, engineering awareness, and ability to analyze signals and systems.

The Western Wisdom course is meant to develop in students an academic spirit of emphasizing both learning and thinking, increasing practical wisdom, and inspiring students to live a life of eternal curiosity, thinking, and serving society.
