A total of 18 majors at Yunnan University have been selected into the third batch of national first-class undergraduate major construction sites, while 16 have been selected into the third batch of provincial first-class undergraduate major construction sites, demonstrating the university's continuous efforts to strengthen the development of undergraduate majors in recent years.
Yunnan University is currently home to 68 first-class undergraduate major construction sites, accounting for 82 percent of the total number of majors, including 47 at the national level and 21 at the provincial level, adding strong impetus to the university's "double first-class" development efforts.
Since June 2021, the College of Undergraduates has launched the third batch of first-class professional application work. After multiple rounds of selection and demonstration, 20 and 15 advantageous majors at the university were finally recommended for participation in national and provincial declarations.
Yunnan University has issued the Yunnan University First-Class Undergraduate Education Construction Plan. In recent years, it has continued to promote professional structure adjustment, trained program optimization and model reform, constructed multiple types of demonstration courses, and paid special attention to comprehensive evaluation of majors.
Moving forward, Yunnan University will focus on building a number of first-class undergraduate majors with national influence.
