Yunnan University participates in regional competition

The Southwest Division Competition of the third National Undergraduate Chemistry Experiment Innovation Design Competition was recently held at Yunnan University, located in Kunming, capital city of Southwest China's Yunnan province.

This competition was hosted by Yunnan University. A total of 124 teams consisting of more than 500 teachers and students from 47 colleges and universities in the Southwest Division participated in the event.

The National College Student Chemistry Experiment Innovation Design Competition has been held three consecutive times since 2019 and has become one of the most influential college student competitions among chemistry majors.

The competition is divided into two parts: a regional competition and national finals. The top teams winning first prizes in each regional competition are eligible for the national finals.

Yunnan University attaches heavy importance to this competition and has carried out careful planning and guidance for each competition. The university's teams won the first prize in the national finals in both the first and second competitions.

During the event, Yunnan University selected three out of 29 participating teams to participate in the regional competition. All three of the teams won awards in this event, including one first prize and two second prizes.
