Scholarships issued by governments

Following scholarships were issued by Chinese or Yunnan province governments.

Chinese Government Scholarship

Admission Category: Full-time Master Degree Programs and PhD. Degree Programs.

To be eligible, applicants must be a bachelor's degree holder under the age of 35 when applying for master's programs and a master's degree holder under the age of 40 when applying for doctoral programs.

Scholarship Coverage: Tuition, on-campus accommodation, living allowance, and Comprehensive Medical Insurance.

Yunnan Provincial Government Scholarship

This admission is for international students applying for both Degree programs and Non-Degree programs. Full-time Degree programs include Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral programs; and Non-Degree programs include Chinese language programs, general programs, and advanced programs.

Applicants for degree programs must have achieved HSK level 4 with a total score no less than 180, valid for 2 years.

Scholarship Coverage: Tuition, on-campus accommodation, living allowance, and Comprehensive Medical Insurance.

International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship

Applicants are non-Chinese citizens and are interested in engaging in Chinese Language Education, teaching activities and international works related to Chinese language promotion.

Applicants' age limit should be between 16-35 years old (as of September 1st, 2022). Applicants currently working as Chinese language teachers shall not be over 45, while undergraduate student applicants shall not be over 25.

Scholarship Coverage: Tuition, on-campus accommodation, living allowance, and Comprehensive Medical Insurance.
