Yunnan University President's Scholarship for International Students

Eligibility: Full-time undergraduates, postgraduates and doctoral students who are in the second year or above within the basic academic system of Yunnan University can participate in the evaluation.

Award amount: 2,000 yuan ($296)/person for undergraduates, 3,000 yuan/person for master students, and 4,000 yuan/person for doctoral students.

Award quota: A total of 25 undergraduates, 10 master's students, and five doctoral students are selected each year.

Yunnan University issues honorary certificates and scholarships to students who have received scholarships by the end of December each year.

Taetea excellent scholarship of international student project

To support the national Belt and Road initiative and the development of Yunnan's "radiation center for East Asia and Southeast Asia", Taetea Group established this scholarship at Yunnan universities last year.

Award recipients: Outstanding international students (undergraduate, master, and doctoral students) from South and Southeast Asian countries studying at major institutions of higher learning in Yunnan province.

Criteria: Each year, 100 outstanding international students who meet the requirements will be awarded 5,000 yuan ($747) per semester. The application cycle is once per semester.

International students can apply for it between April and October from 2021 to 2030.
