Yunnan University volunteer teaching event concludes

The teaching support service of the 23rd postgraduate teaching group of Yunnan University is coming to an end.

A total of 18 people on five teams offered one year of volunteer teaching services in five counties in Southwest China's Yunnan province.

Although the members experienced rural life with its undeveloped infrastructure, they also really experienced the success of poverty alleviation in the western China and learned about the real challenges facing rural education.

"Teacher, will you teach us again next semester?" "Teacher, please don't leave?" Such pleas by students made the teachers realize just how much of a positive influence they had had.

Moving forward, generations of Yunnan University's students will continue to contribute to the educational cause in western China so that knowledge can be spread where the country and people need it most.
