Expert of YNU Affiliated Hospital sets up workstation to service Luoping county

The "Xiong Zhihong Expert Workstation" of the Yunnan University (YNU) Affiliated Hospital was unveiled at the Luoping County Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital – located in Luoping county, Qujing city, Southwest China's Yunnan province. The workstation will bring high-quality professional resources to the county and provide high-quality medical services to residents.

It has been reported that Xiong Zhihong is the chief physician of the Department of Pain Treatment at the Yunnan University Affiliated Hospital and vice chairman of the Pain Branch of the Yunnan Association for the Integration of Chinese and Western Medicine.

Through this workstation, Xiong will teach people using his many years of clinical experience at the traditional Chinese medicine hospital. Through talent training and on-site guidance, he will strengthen young physicians' practical skills and ensure they adhere to standards, improving their ability to treat pain-related illnesses.

At the unveiling site, Xiong gave a special academic lecture entitled "New Understanding of Spine-related Diseases and Radio Frequency Treatment". Xiong's team also visited the department to teach people, provided free clinical services to patients, and meticulously taught people about pain. In addition, he visited the operating room and performed a guided operation.
