Southwest United Graduate School solicits logo design proposals

The Southwest United Graduate School was recently established in Kunming with the approval of the Yunnan Provincial People's Government.

The Southwest United Graduate School is a teaching and research institution, jointly promoted by the Ministry of Education and the Yunnan Provincial People's Government, in cooperation with Yunnan University. The construction of the school was jointly organized by Peking University, Tsinghua University and Nankai University, while Kunming University of Science and Technology and Yunnan Normal University also participated. The business management and guidance are mainly from the provincial department of education.

The Southwest United Graduate School is soliciting logo design schemes such as a school logo and academy emblem for the cooperation and co-construction of colleges and universities.

Contributors can provide electronic manuscripts or hand-painted manuscripts (scanned or photographed) online from Aug 9 to 15, with a description of the logo design concept or explanation of its meaning (within 500 words) and an application form. 

The top three will receive a bonus of 5,000 yuan ($742) before tax for each plan and will be awarded honorary certificates and bonuses. The top one selected as the project with the logo of the Southwest United Graduate School will receive a bonus of 10,000 yuan. (Bonus is not cumulative)
