Yunnan University teachers return to Iran to teach Chinese

Abdolmajid Eskandari, director of the International Office of the University of Tehran (CIUT), warmly received the newly appointed Chinese Director Li Mei of the Confucius Institute and the public teachers Liu Xiaxuan and Li Li in his office on Aug 6.

CIUT was jointly established by Yunnan University and the University of Tehran. It focuses on teaching Chinese and promoting academic exchanges and cooperation between the two universities.

Li Mei visited Rabiyi, director of the Science and Technology Office of the University of Tehran. They discussed how to use the Confucius Institute to further expand the multi-disciplinary exchanges between the University of Tehran and Yunnan University and promote the two universities in scientific research cooperation, including water resources, new materials, and rice technology.
