The final of the sixth China Postgraduate Public Management Case Competition was held at Zhengzhou University in Zhengzhou, capital city of Central China's Henan province, on Aug 14. A total of 2,110 teams from 211 universities across the country signed up for the event.

Ma Sang, director of the Public Administration Case Center of Yunnan University, and Tan Lili, deputy director of the MPA Education Center of Yunnan University, led the team to the finals. Tan also served as the judge for the third group in the finals.

After fierce competition, six teams from the School of Government Management of Yunnan University won two national first prizes, two second prizes and two third prizes, making Yunnan University's team the team with the largest number of finalists in the top 32 in the previous competition. It also won the "Excellent Organization Award" at the event.

This success is due to a series of measures such as institutional incentives, careful preparation, and intensive training. The school began preparing for the competition in September 2021. After months of field research, seminars, and simulation exercises, the participating teachers and students managed to create a number of excellent cases.

Moving forward, the school will continue to promote the integration of scientific research and teaching, continue to incubate high-quality cases, and focus on Chinese practice.
