The finals of the eighth "Internet +" College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in Yunnan province were recently held in Kunming, capital city of Southwest China's Yunnan.
A total of 400 projects from 83 colleges and universities in the province competed fiercely in four tracks.

This year, 7,278 teachers and students from Yunnan University participated in the competition and applied for 1,608 projects. After the university-level rematch and finals, Yunnan University recommended 107 university-level gold and silver awards for the provincial event.
In the provincial-level finals, Yunnan University won 21 gold awards, 41 silver awards, and 43 bronze awards. The university also won the "Excellent Organization Award" for the eighth consecutive year.
It has been reported that a total of 3.4 million projects from 4,554 colleges and universities in 108 countries and regions at home and abroad signed up for the national competition and the number of participants exceeded 10 million for the first time.
Among them, 83 colleges and universities in Yunnan province applied for a total of 48,000 projects, and a total of 170,600 students participated.
