Research, service team of Yunnan University investigates county in Yunnan

A total of 35 teachers and students on Yunnan University's special "Understanding China" research and service team visited Nanjian county, Dali Bai autonomous prefecture, on Aug 15, to conduct field research with a focus on talent training, scientific research and social services.

It has been reported that the research activities organized by Yunnan University include nearly 50 sub-projects on eight platforms, forming a strong, comprehensive, and diverse new talent training model.

Among nearly 50 projects, the series of projects above received approval to become one of the Ministry of Education's high-quality ideological and political work projects in colleges and universities in 2019, supporting graduate students to carry out research services in Yunnan province.

This event focuses on topics such as regional ecological restoration, characteristic cultural and creative product design, the scientific management of small, medium and micro enterprises in the region, characteristic town planning, and solidifying awareness of ethnic groups in the Chinese nation.

The team members observed and investigated the natural environment in the dry-hot valley area, committed to local ecological restoration, learned about the production places of characteristic cultural derivatives and characteristic agricultural products, learned important stories, improved the added value of products, made full use of the advantages of business and tourism to help the scientific development of small and medium-sized enterprises, conducted on-the-spot research into townships, and put forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions for the construction planning of characteristic towns.
